Colby Woogk Commits to Western Michigan University
Colby Woogk, a member of the Dallas Stars Elite Hockey Club, has committed to play college hockey at Western Michigan University. Woogk is a 6'2", 185-pound defenseman who has been a key contributor to the Stars' success in recent years. He is a strong skater with a good shot and is also a physical presence on the ice.
Jacob MacDonald Commits to UMass
Jacob MacDonald, another member of the Dallas Stars Elite Hockey Club, has committed to play college hockey at the University of Massachusetts. MacDonald is a 6'0", 175-pound forward who is known for his speed and agility. He is a dangerous scorer who can also set up his teammates. He has been a consistent producer for the Stars and is expected to continue to be a key contributor in college.
2022-23 Season Tryout Dates
The Dallas Stars Elite Hockey Club is holding tryouts for the 2022-23 season. Tryouts will be held at Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas. The dates and times are as follows:
- 10U: August 19th, 10:00am-12:00pm
- 12U: August 19th, 1:00pm-3:00pm
- 14U: August 20th, 10:00am-12:00pm
- 16U: August 20th, 1:00pm-3:00pm
- 18U: August 21st, 10:00am-12:00pm
