Canucks Comeback Falls Short as Oilers Win 3-2
The Edmonton Oilers have punched their ticket to the second round of the playoffs after defeating the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 in Game 6 at Rogers Arena on Sunday. The Oilers, who trailed 2-0 after the first period, rallied with three unanswered goals in the second period to take the lead.
Evan Bouchard scored the game-winning goal with just over three minutes remaining in the second period, giving the Oilers a 3-2 lead. The Canucks had several chances to tie the game in the third period, but couldn't beat Oilers goaltender Mike Smith.
With the win, the Oilers advance to the second round, where they will face the Colorado Avalanche. The Canucks' season ends with the loss.
